It’s fun being a girl, no lie. For instance, you can mix all styles in one like this look to get the perfect combination of sexy, sweet, and nerdy. It’s almost a bit too late now, but this coming fall wool blazers and lace bustiers/bodysuits with jeans will be my go to look. It can be dressed up or dressed down with ease. Now, if you’re a woman, you know that it can sometimes suck having the sex organ that people rarely understand and are so afraid of. The vagina, yes that’s what I’m talking about. Other than the fact that certain (to me inalienable) rights are in threat of being taken away. From Planned Parenthood to birth control to unequal pay. Being a woman may be come even harder - great. In addition to this, women get discriminated against just by the products we use. The Pink Tax is the extra amount of money women are charged for certain goods and services. Ranging from the shaving razors we buy to even dry cleaning. Seriously, dry cleaning fam. It outages me (and I’m sure you once you do more research), that companies find a way to get over on women just by being women. This tax is also what helps contribute to low-income women not being able to afford sanitary products. When we all know they honestly, should be given out for free. There are companies that help fight this like Boxed, Billie, and Cora that I’m currently looking into becoming a subscriber to, so I can do my part in fighting this stupid tax. I also go in depth about this topic on the upcoming episode of my podcast - Qream Chronicles. Stay tuned for that and let me know in the comments if you knew about the Pink Tax and what you’re doing to fight it.
With Love,
Sunny
