Yesterday was Sunday Funday at it's best. A friend and I visited a church she had been dying to get to (service was great), and since we were on that side of town, decided to head over to a coffee shop (y'all know how I am about my coffee, if not - refer to the gram @FromSunnyWithLove) I've been dying to get to - Rose Park Roasters. The coffee shop was so cute and bright - perfect for taking photos for what else - the gram! I loved there wall mural which read "Welcome to the Process". I'm not sure what they want to convey with that, but it's super fitting for a coffee shop especially in (around) LA. Coffee shops are the creative's office space - where we go to get away from our house, get fresh air, and get some work done. It's where ideas are conceived and birthed. It's where we take meetings to give life to new ideas, it's all apart of the process. My almond dirty chai was good AND they had vegan donuts, that's all I need in this life of sin.
After coffee shop grinding we headed over to The District by Hannah Anh and had a super cute brunch. I had the District Benedict with no hollandaise, no bacon, sub brussel sprouts - cause, you know I'm transitioning to Vegan-ish (I will expand in a later post, don't think too hard on it now just go with it). I had a super cute Soul-filled Sunday - just how I like them.
